Even the cutest feet and toes (Madison's shown here) can't help me forget Friday night which was my roughest night with the babies yet. I'll spare you the details but here are some hints: 1:00-5:30 am, crying in unison, inconsolable, utter exhaustion. You get the point. I try not to complain on the blog but in case I haven't correctly portrayed the experience, being the stay-at-home mom of triplets is extremely hard work.
The babies are getting so strong with their heads. They enjoy looking around during tummy time and flinging their heads around when you're trying to hold them on your shoulder. We gave the babies some face-to-face time with each other the other day which was really cute to watch. Payson's by himself on the left and the right shows Hayden, Payson and Madison.

Keith has been too busy to watch Sports Center so Payson has begun watching and updating Keith regularly. You can also see that he was very interested in the Rogaine commercial that came on afterwards.
We keep trying to tell him that it's normal for babies to have thin hair. Also, see the captions on the bottom of the screen? With all of the nursery rhyme tunes, grunting, loud bottle feeding, crying and sound of running water to wash bottles, it is very difficult to hear the television these days so this helps. Plus Payson is big into reading these days so he likes it too.
While Keith fed Payson and I pumped we put the girls in a boppy together and they settled into a good snuggle within minutes.
Payson is currently our serious baby. He is serious about everything he does including eating, sleeping and looking around. And since that's all that newborns, well then, that's everything! Oh man, the intensity around feeding makes
us laugh every time.
Tomorrow the babies are 11 weeks old and just 1 1/2 weeks adjusted age.
