2013 Firsts!

2013 has already brought lots of firsts for the Melker triplets! The girls went to the American Girl store for their first time and, as expected, were in awe! They celebrated their friend Ryann's birthday over lunch with their friends and dolls!

Hayden and Madison also participated in their first cheer camp and they absolutely loved every minute of it! Performing, hanging out with the big girls, they just loved it!

Go Big Blue!

We finally made it out to the new Perot Museum and after several hours we barely made a dent in it! But we have all year to explore as members so we will be sure to return often!

The kids had so many questions about our planet and the dinosaurs. They were hungry for as much information as they could take in!

The kids area kept them busy playing at the farmers market.

They could have sorted and bought and sold fruits and vegetables for hours!

Then it was building time! Again, they could have done this for hours! This area is for kids age 5 and under so we'll have to visit this portion of the museum often this year.

Hayden, Madison and Payson had their first golf lesson thanks to Pops and Nunie giving them lessons for Christmas! They each really enjoyed it and want to return to the driving range again soon!

Madison getting the feel of her swing down. Tick-tock, tick-tock.

Payson is so meticulous in setting up his golf swing. He really takes the time to line everything up and go through each step without rushing it. Certainly a good start to a complicated game!

And he loves to practice at home. But he's getting too good for our backyard! We'll need a practice net soon or our fence will be in shambles!

Happy New Year!

We had a special New Year's celebration at home with the kids this year. We celebrated with silly string and snappers outside before it got dark.

Silly Daddy and Hayden!

We made it a family game night with the new Monopoly Junior board game that the kids got from a friend for their birthday. So fun!

And what New Year's Eve is complete without a dance party!

With the kids off school we've had some movie nights, many of them looking like this. So sweet.

Pops and Nunie took the kids to a matinee. They sure love spending time with their grandparents! See ya Mom and Dad!

Payson got his own "razor" and shaving cream in his stocking for Christmas so Keith taught him how to shave like a man.

Madison grocery shopping with Mommy. It's so great to incorporate one-on-one time with the kids over the holidays while both parents are home.

Playdate with Abby!
